Yup, I Am That Girl

In one of our grocery shopping last December, I found this book by Maine Mendoza on the counter side of the supermarket. I was initially intrigued by the title so I went through the back cover. I instantly got interested on what’s inside especially after finding out that she is also a blogger for a long time now. Her blog’s name is “The Pessimistic Optimist Bella”, what a witty name, right? And, there I was including it in my grocery purchases.

First, please note that I’m not an #AlDub fan, though my husband is (LOL), I find Maine as a good and inspiring influencer, because she still remains so real even with all the successes she achieved for a short period of time. And, knowing that she’s also a blogger before all her fame makes a difference for me.

So, a few thoughts on her first book:

  1.  The way she writes really speaks of a blogger to me. It gives me a sense of hope that one day, I, too can be a published writer. Hopefully, I will not need to be a celebrity to get published. 🙂
  2. Everything in her book felt so sincere. So it was a good read.
  3. If you’re a fan, you probably bought this book and if you don’t you should. This book, Maine has shared a part of her before all the fame and her life goals.
  4. My favorite part of the book is the #LifeGoals. It inspires me to work on my list, too.
  5. Lastly, I love how Maine remains to be “that girl”, she’s very content on what she has. For me this is something millenials need to work on.

I’ll stop now, before I spoil you on the content of the book. Grab your copy and happy reading. Let me know your thoughts!

Love,

P.S. This is in no way sponsored. I think writing a sort of review in my blog would push me to read more this year. Fingers crossed! (wink)
