Yikes! I don’t know if I deserve to even be nominated in anyone’s awesome blogger awardees. So, thank you Rosemarie of The Imported Wife for believing and thinking that my blog is awesome and well deserved. So kilig right now! Don’t forget to check out her blog, I’m learning so much from her travel and beauty posts.

Here are Rosemarie’s questions, let’s see how far I can go in answering them.

1. If your life is going to be a movie or a book what would be its title?

• Thinking for a title in my every posts is what I think took most of my time. Haha! So thinking a movie or a book title about my life, hmm, impossible (lol), at the top of my head right now is: A Beautiful Mess?

2. Do you share your blogs with your friends or just the blogging community?

• If sharing it to my personal social media accounts counts as sharing it with my friends, then yes. My closest friends know that I have a blog but I don’t shove it to their face to read it, just to my husband. LOL.

3. What’s the story behind your blog name?

• Honestly, I’m so noob in blog names (and titles, too). Everyday prior to moving to wordpress, I would jumble words in my head to come up with blog names. But all of them just don’t feel and sound right. Then, it dawned to me that I’ve been writing and enjoyed writing letters to my son and husband that I decided to name my blog as Love, Mommy A. (It’s still not the wittiest and most creative but it will do and it speaks me.)

4. If you could go back or start over college, would you change your major? What its going to be?

• I love where I am and who I am now. But if I would go back to school now, I would really like to take up medicine. Sponsors, anyone? Haha!

5. What is your most annoying habit that you want to get rid of?

• Overthinking that sometimes lead me to procastination. I should really get in control of my mind, sometimes it has a mind of its own and it wanders to the beyond. Another thing is my social media addiction, it felt like checking my phone has become second nature. Ugh, good thing my fifteen month old son always got me on check. And too much paranoia!

6. If you could move and live to a different country or city, where it would be?

• I’m torn between Nice, France and Sydney, Australia. Or any country where they require that each household has a public space.

7. What is your biggest pet peeve?

• It’s a quite a lot but the top most are being late (every seconds count), mediocracy, stereotypes, “kunsintidor” I really don’t know it’s English translation, and trolls.

8. What is your top 5 blogging tips for new bloggers?

I don’t think I am the right one to give tips because I still consider myself as a newbie. But let me just share what I learn and what’s keeping me to blogging:

•  Be sincere and authentic. I started blogging to tell my story and somehow along the way share my life with the hopes of inspiring or relating with others like the other blogs did to me. Don’t blog something you’re not or you don’t like.
• Love what you blog. You’ll probably be stuck in a job that you got as a means to an end, so having another thing that you hate will do you no good. Besides, maintaning a blog is no easy thing so you gotta love it to keep going.
• Quality over quantity. As with mostly everything, quality is always better than the amount of posts you have.
• Don’t go with the flow. In my lifetime, I’ve been told by so many adults to just go with the flow, but I just couldn’t, it’s not me. I think it also applies to blogging, there are so many trending things to write about and it would surely get you numbers but it will probably lose the soul of your blog. So don’t go with the flow, make your own path.
• Be a good neighbor. This is one of the most important thing I’ve learned over the years. It’s nice to see people reading your posts, but it so much better hearing from them through their comments. So if there’s a post that I can relate so much or find it really interesting, I made sure to tell the writer.

9. Who would you consider your best travel buddy?

• I haven’t travel in a while, and my past travels were with different group of friends. But I think my son would be my best travel buddy, because he is teaching me new perspectives every day.

10. If you only have a day to live, who are you going to spend it with and why?

• Of all the questions, this is the no-brainer one. If I know I have one day to live, I would wake up early to watch my family sleep in peace, write them letters, cook them breakfast and do all the fun things we always do. I want my last memories they have of me as fun and happy.
